Aaron Kleinman then joins, as he and Emma jump right into addressing this election’s role as yet another “closest” election in US history, what signs point to that not being the case (largely favoring Harris), and why the thin margin being shown in polling must be at least addressed by the Harris campaign. Kleinman then steps back to parse through the “demolition derby” that is the state legislature races across the country, including the wildly close races across Pennsylvania’s Senate and House, the Democrats’ push in Florida and Wisconsin, and the role certain North Carolina races play as bellwethers for the US presidential election, before wrapping up with a quick assessment of the key legislatures Dems are seeking to flip, and what to make of the GOP push in Blue havens like New York and California.
