In the Wake of Abdul El-Sayed‘s winning the Democratic nomination for Senate in Michigan, the GOP-machine’s Islamophobia is reaching a fever pitch.

El-Sayed’s GOP opponent Mike Rogers tries to tie the Democratic nominee to Osama Bin Laden in his opening statement to kick off the general election.

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani is asked about Speaker Mike Johnson‘s comments on El-Sayed’s victory on Tuesday putting the U.S. in danger of being overrun by “mini-Mamdani’s’. Zohran says if El-Sayed’s campaign promises of “money out of politics, money in your pocket and Medicare for all” are scary then that shows just how out-of-touch the Republican party is with the concerns of the working class.
