Hegseth defended himself for a completely separate text thread about U.S. attacks on Yemen at the White House’s annual Easter celebration.
Senator Chris Van Hollen is pushing back against California governor Gavin Newsom who called Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s detention in a Salvadoran prison the distraction of the day. Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador to meet with Abrego Garcia last week. The Supreme Court have slowed the deportation of additional Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador.
