Sam and Emma are joined by Heather Digby Parton, contributing writer at Salon.com and proprietor of the blog Hullabaloo, to round up the week in news. First, Sam and Emma run through updates on aid to Israel, Ukraine, and Gaza, respectively, Jim Jordan’s humiliation streak, Israel’s offensives and their rising death tolls, various US agencies, and Apple’s problem with Jon Stewart, before diving into the growing discontent with Israel among Arab countries in the Middle East. Digby then joins as she walks through her reflections on the last week in global politics, tackling the failure of Biden’s immediate response to Israel’s offensive, the potential of a greater regional conflict, and the shortcomings of the Ukraine comparison.
