Sam hosts journalist Jean Guerrero to discuss her new book Hatemonger: Stephen Miller, Donald Trump, and the White Nationalist Agenda on how Stephen Miller thrived in the Trump administration and successfully implemented a campaign of terror against immigrants in America. Stephen Miller is one of the most influential advisors in the Trump White House, crafting Trump’s cruelest immigration policies and managing to stay in his position where many of his colleagues have not. Geurrero traces Miller’s development, from his discovery of white nationalism as a lonely teen, to his mentorship by figures like Larry Elder and David Horowitz, to his ongoing efforts to broaden and intensify the persecution of immigrants.

On the fun half: Mark Meadows says sorting machines will not be taken down, blames Obama for USPS losses. Asked about Covid relief negotiations, Trump says he won’t meet Pelosi and Schumer: “The country is doing very well right now.” Trump on his reelection chances, says boaters and silent majority will lift him to victory. NYPD union gives first presidential endorsement to Donald Trump.
