Ian Millhiser (@imillhiser) of Think Progress joins us to discuss his latest piece, Supreme Court Will Hear Two Challenges to Partisan Gerrymandering. The Supreme Court announced on Friday that it will hear challenges to partisan gerrymandering in two states: MD and NC. Millhiser gives some background on these cases and explains why, in his opinion, they will not end well for the Democrats. Plus, a breakdown of the legal issues involved with Trump’s use of “national emergency” to build the wall.

Andy Samberg calls out the FBI’s assassination of the original Black Panthers during Golden Globes bit about the movie Black Panther.

On the fun half: For-profit college, prison stocks shot up when Trump was elected. Chris Wallace tells Sarah Huckabee her 4,000-terrorists-apprehended-at-border figure is wrong. Brian Kilmeade claims children of refugees who “don’t speak any English” are flooding schools. Border patrol union president says official terrorist-at-border numbers are secret because of 9/11. MSNBC reporters explain the conservative media’s wall narrative. Rush Limbaugh calls AOC “some young uppity.” Whoopi Goldberg scolds AOC: you have to do something before you “start pooping on people.” Bishop William Barber says Romney’s op-ed has no moral integrity, reminds viewers Jesus said to judge people on their actions, not their words. Is AOC anything like Sarah Palin? Plus, your calls and IMs!
